- It clearly shows the special relationship existing between the two men!

- Paul considers Timothy as a dear son!

- He encourages Timothy to fight corruption!

- Instruct certain men not to teach false doctrines (1 Timothy 1:3), or devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies (1 Timothy 1:4)!

- Turning aside from empty talks (1 Timothy 1:6)!
